OK ummmmmmm we shud learn Tibetan because then we can keep our language and show that once we were an independent country and we shud still be one. so then the next generation will know it and we can show the rest of our world and preserve our culture and heritage...
Genla i am sorry that my computer doesnt have tibetan as a choice for language :P I'll add that to my wish list for a new laptop with tibetan (: okay so ive been to TCV. After coming back learning my language and culture seems like its the right thing for all tibetans. I'd feel ashamed if i didnt know tibetan. I also want to encourage parents sending their kids to TCV! well when they're mature enough....cause TCV have some bad people. Anyways Tibet is supposed to be its own country. There is no proof china legally took tibet because the stone pillar that the guy showed us proves that tibet is its own country. Tibetan language and writing is unique in its own way. Even thought its copied from sanskrit...The younger generation of tibetans in the U.S is very uneducated with tibetan life style and language. That also makes it harder for the kids to hold on to their culture and heritage with growing up in a different civilazation
Tashi delek, tibetans study tibetan because we are tibetan! Second, we study tibetan so that we can perserve our culture and keep it alive.If tibet ends up being a part of china forever at least we will still have our language , clothes, traditions, and writing to pass on to our children and our children's children and the other generations to come.I believe that we also study tibetan because if someone were to ask if we are tibetan we have proof that we are. It would be shame to say that your tibetan and not know how to speak your own language!!!!!!!!! I BELIEVE THAT WE STUDY TIBETAN FOR ALL THE ABOVE REASONS. <3
If Tibetans didn't study their own language how can we expect other people to do so? Learning Tibetan will help us preserve our culture. If we didn't learn how to read and write in Tibetan, the next generation wouldn't learn either, then our culture will die. In my opinion it would be embarrassing to say your Tibetan and don't know your own language. Tibetans are special in their own way. Thats why it's important to keep it alive.
We study tibetan because we should keep the unique culture and writing alive.Also if we keep it alive there will be more cultures and different languages around the world. If we dont keep our language then the chinese will have taken away our culture and it will all be a mystery if no one takes a stand. We should study tibetan because we are tibetan and we woudnt wat to disappoint our own unque language and land and history. It would be great for other people to know our language and landscape and why we need the freedom that we need. That is why we should study tibetan andwe should keep it that way. Because WE ARE TIBEAN!!!!!!!!
